Arrival, equipment check, permits, and trek briefing.
Scenic mountain flight to Lukla (2,860m), short trek to Phakding (2,610m).
Cross suspension bridges, enter Sagarmatha National Park, climb to Namche (3,440m).
Day hike to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung village for acclimatization.
Trek through rhododendron forest to Tengboche Monastery (3,860m).
Continue up the valley to Dingboche (4,410m).
Day hike to Nangkartshang Peak viewpoint.
Trek past Thukla Pass memorials to Lobuche (4,940m).
Trek to Gorak Shep (5,164m), then on to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and back.
Pre-dawn hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for Everest sunrise views, descend to Pheriche.
Descend back through Tengboche to Namche.
Final descent day back to Lukla; celebration dinner.
Morning flight back to Kathmandu; rest of day at leisure.
Transfer to airport for onward departure.
